Current Radio Compatibility
As far as radios are concerned we have been able to connect to anything that has an I/O port on the back (ie mobile and base radios) which offers us the following pin outs: PTT, Audio into the radio/repeater (Mod Audio), Audio recovered from the equipment (received audio), Ground, Busy line or COR (Used to inform the system of activity).
The systems we have tested, approved and stock interface leads for are as below:
Motorola GM340
Motorola GM360
Motorola GM380
Motorola DM3400
Motorola DM3600
Icom IC-F5062 (inc IDAS version)
Icom IC-F6062 (inc IDAS version)
HYT TM 800
Kenwood TK-7180E
Kenwood TK-8180E
Codan NGT SR
Codan NGT SRX
Please bear in mind that we recommend you use a slave radio to provide an air interface to your current radio network. This makes it very simple to integrate the Iconics network and is not reliant on hard-wired links.
If the system you prefer is not currently listed here please call us to see if it is something we are currently working on. If not we can discuss which option you prefer, namely use one of the radios from the list above programmed to the same frequencies as your current systems, or we can obtain the radio you use and build a lead to suit.
